The requirements for becoming a nursing assistant in the State of Connecticut are the following. You must complete one of the training programs available in Connecticut and have at least 100 hours’ worth of lectures on basic nurse skills and clinical duty experience of at least 16 hours. Taking on the license exams is the final step in becoming a nurse aide. Once you pass the license exams, your name will be entered in the state’s Nurse Aide Registry. In the written exam, you will be given 90 minutes to answer all of the 60 multiple-choice questions.
