Taking training classes is the first step necessary to become certified as a nurse aide in MN. Classes will enable you to get the skills practice necessary to pass the license exams and be able to confidently perform the duties of the job. During your instruction you will practice using the primary tasks in a real life clinical setting.
After finishing your course you can submit an application to take the exams. The exams are conducted by Pearson Vue. They can be reached by phone at 1-800-274-0504 with any inquiries you have about testing and reservations. When you take the test you’ll notice it is given in two parts.
