When applying for a job as a CNA in a licensed nursing facility, the hiring facility will check the applicant’s status on the online Registry. When they check, they will only need to open the site and provide the necessary information.
Only those who are on the NA Registry are allowed to work as a nursing assistant in the state. There are two ways to get your name entered on the Registry. One if by challenging and passing the LNA exams, while the other option is to apply for reciprocity.
