To be a nursing assistant in Minnesota, most people choose to enroll in a training program. You can choose from the programs listed above. It has to be a program that is approved by the state, since they are the only ones that have a curriculum that meet the state’s standard of practice.
Training programs are required by Federal regulations to consist of at the least, 75 hours of training. It should only use a curriculum that was approved by the American Red Cross or by the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities.
