The completion of a CNA training program is one of the most important steps in becoming one. You should be well educated and trained in both knowledge and skills before you are allowed to handle any patient. Training will provide you with hands-on experience in a setting similar to that found in a long-term care center. To be eligible for renewal, you must have worked for at least 8 hours with pay in the span of 24 months.
