Nursing Assistant classes in Alaska are required to be approved by the state and consist o f a minimum of 140 hours of training. CNA training must include 60 hours of classroom coursework and 80 hours of practical experience in a clinical setting. Normally certification instruction can take from 2-6 months to complete.
