Those who complete their course instruction will need to pass the license exam within two years or have to retake the program. The certification exam is divided into a multiple-choice knowledge test and a skills evaluation exam. Each applicant is allowed three attempts within the two year period to take the exams. The exams are given in two separate portions which are a manual demonstration exam, and a multiple choice test. If you pass all of the tests, you will get your certificate from the Aide and Technician Certification Section. Your training will only be valid for 2 years. This means that you must get certified within that time. If you fail to get certified, you will have to complete another training program.
