The state requires all aspiring CNAs to undergo proper education and training before handling any individual as a nursing assistant. This means that all candidates must select a training program to enroll in and complete it. The training program that they choose should only be a program that is approved by the state. This is to ensure that they will be able to apply for the state’s competency exams after they complete their training.
