There are a number of things that you have to do to become a nursing assistant. One of the most important steps to become certified is to enroll in CNA classes. By completing a state-approved program, you will become eligible to apply. To get your name entered in the Nurse Aide Registry, you will need to pass both the written/oral exam and the skills demonstration exams. For those that have finished their training from another state, they can apply for reciprocity to work in the state.
