You must have a CNA license in order to work as a nursing assistant in Arkansas. To become a certified you must complete one of the training programs that are being offered in the state. You will additionally need about 75 hours of classroom study and 100 hours minimum of clinical instruction hours. After which, you will be able to apply to take the nurse aide exam for the National Council Licensure to be able to practice legally in the state.
